You mean games as in computer games right? Not sports?

Then I have a good thingy for them.

World War I. Basically anything, there is almost nothing on the market about that war, compared to WWII, it's rather ridiculous.

Action Half-Life mod had one map where one side consisted of the members of the A-Team. It was hilarious. Several Mr T:s running around at the same time killing the opposing force.

The simulation world is starving for strategic bomber sims (B-17) and surface combat sims most, I think.

Whoever builds the first action game that features players with recruitable teams fighting for dynamic control of the Moscow Metro will have me buying 10 copies to give to all my friends! It doesn't have to make sense, it just needs to have realistic guns and 100% realistic environment, cause the Moscow Metro is THE coolest interconnected architectural complex in the world to have dynamic shootouts in

Think "Mornington Crescent", but in Moscow and with a lot of kalashnikovs.

Other. I dream of Sil ... uh ... Noisy Hunter. The war in Africa between Germans and Allies, roaming along the sanddunes in Tigers and Shermans. Dynamic campaign with random missions, and wildlife and civilians. Looking after your tank, replacing worn parts, and upgrading it along the way. Going from one base to the next, having to stop and scout the horizon for dust clouds, etc, etc. Oh, the joy!

(The reaon for desert war is graphical, much like water, and thus easier to pull off)

Some flight simmers would disagree. It was a rather romantic era in the air.

Actually the way i read it he thought the lack of WW1 sims was ridiculous not that WW1 sims were ridiculous.

WWI. Yes! If it's a grand campaign it would be fun, people must forget the steoreotype of trench warfare. Just think of all the interesting weapons, technologies, (airplanes, submarines, tanks and .. may I say it .. gas).

God, I also want to play a spiritual follower to Pirates! before I die. You know a pirate SIM with Silent Hunter graphics.

New versions of Panzer General and Close Combat every 5 years isnt it time?

I would also like to see a Grand Prix Legends 2 or just any good racing game that has 60's F1 cars.

I agree with none of the above. I want to drive a corvette (not the car) from Halifax to Liverpool, looking for u-boats all the way.

I want to fly a Mk II Spitfire on a hit-and-run over French soil in January 1941. None of the current flight sims seem to cover my favourite period (at least that I know of - I am a little behind the curve).

I want to fly a Heinkel He-51 over spain in 1939 (I do have a copy of Luftwaffe Commander, but it's quite dated and gives little satisfaction).

I want to drive an early 77-foot Elco PT boat in the Solomons in 1942.

I want to drive a 73-foot Vosper in the Channel (that may come true someday, given the current state of the Schnellboot mod).

I want to drive a Type-C Auto Union at the Nurburgring in 1937.

I want to drive an Alfa Romeo 158 at Monaco in 1950.

That other stuff bores me.
