Ok, so maybe I haven't been following along lately... and the search function isn't much help as the only thing it returns are U boat vs Fleet boat "discussions"... so let me risk a new topic.
The 2 questions are: What does the add-on add to the game apart from U-boats (ie are there any enhancements or bug fixes for the PTO/Fleet boat campaign)? Is there any difference - particularly in the way of mod-ability and future enhancements - between the download version and the retail boxed version of the add-on? TIA JD |

It's been said that there are interface enhancements:
(1) Would someone be kind enough to explain what those are? (2) Could we have a few sample screenshots please? I've got SH4 1.4/TM and SH4 1.4/RFB installed, but am mainly playing SH3/GWX2 these days. Trying to decide if there is any compelling reason both with SH4 1.5 at the moment. Sounds like SH4 1.4 is still the best of the Pacific for now and the next few months. True?

I had a complaint with vanilla 1.4 that has been fixed in 1.5:
I used to travel to ports (like Japan, for example) and the ships that I'd "detect" would stay loaded in memory long after I left said port. Which would then make my return trip home almost unbearable due to the TC lag and stutter. With 1.5, I am regularly attacking Freemantle (and other Aussie ports) with no lag on the return trip. That alone is worth my 10 bucks.
