DOSBOX help?

I just downloaded the latest DOSBOX but am lost? do i need afront end to run it? all that comes up is a command prompt(well two of them) I'm trying to get SH to work, but am totally lost

Okay, first of all you do not need Dosbox to runt SHIII

I guess you posted in the wrong forum.

Dosbox:
You have to mount a virtual disk drive in Dosbox. I do not know the exact syntax right now but you can type "help" in Dosbox to get explanations for the commands, or look it up on the Dosbox "Getting started" or "FAQ" webpage or whatever there is on their site.

The syntax for the mount command is something like this (better look it up again as I am not sure about it)

Code:

mount c c:/any_old_game
cd c:

any_old_game is the path to the old game you want to run in dosbox.
