Mod Combination Topic...

Hi all,

i am currently working to get many people's advice on Mod Combos which will helpl me decide what mods are best to suit me, and other people

Personally right now i am running

SH4 v1.3
with

Realistic Sinking Mechanics By werner sobe (download from here)
Ultimate Sound Mod by Günther Hessler(download from here)

From this combo of mods i love my SH4 gameplay But i am now stuck with a dialema

I want to Update to 1.4 but i know that it will effect both mods

anybody know some good 1.4 mod combos???

Not yet. Patch 1.4 is very new and it'll take some time for the modders to remod their mods so they are properly modernized for the most modern patch.

It won't be too long though, I suspect.

peto you didnt answer my question....

i already know that it will be a while before mods are changed to work with 1.4

the question i am asking is what mods do you use and what version of SH4

I use Trigger Maru, ROW, NSM and Hardcore Torpedo Mod mainly.

Major mods: ROW, NSM, RSRDC, I also use parts of TMaru, Ultimate Sound Mod, betterscopes, MetalHUD, Search Pattern Mod, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few right now!
Enjoying it? Enjoying it?. I'll tell you one thing: during the last month I don't think I've slept for more than 5 hours a day, and that's because of this game and the mods! I keep showing up at the Uni bleary-eyed and communicating with grunts until I've had my first sip of coffee, and I refuse to start working on my PhD until I've had AT LEAST downed 1/3 of my huge coffee mug and 5 smokes :p (Kids, don't try this at home...I'm just blessed with a very layed-back supervising professor

).
Not taken the step to v1.4 yet though, not until ROW and NSM are certified 100% 1.4-ready. So 1.3 for me still.

I use TM interface + TM GFX pack + ROW sounds, textures (with modified scene.dat) + stock 1.4 RSRDC + some smaller mods like skins + new rec. manual

It works great and looks great..

That will also work without problems with patch 1.4

lol drbeast thats a lot of mods and nice supervisor lol if i turned up to college like that i'd be given a "cause for concern" and a letter home

my supervisors are strict gits but a lot of the time they are more unorganised than the students
