Default Looking for US WW2 sub movie...

Wife was quite a fan of "Das Boot" (original, 293 minute version). I understand there is no US equiv in quality or scope, but I wondered if there was anything out there that at least entertained and was reasonably accurate.

"Destination Tokyo", which we have because it's a Cary Grant film (she's a huge fan) is, of course, utterly ridiculous - but an amusing 'guilty pleasure', as it's SO over-the-top (it was basically a middle-of-the-war-BUY-WAR-BONDS-PLEASE propaganda movie - "They don’t understand the love we have for our women – they don’t even have a word for it in their language." still gets a chuckle out of my wife and I).

Anyway, I see three candidates:
- Up, Periscope (I read and liked the book as a kid)
- Run Silent, Run Deep (tried reading this book at the same time, never finished it. Hmm...still have it...maybe I should...)
- The Enemy Below

Which, of those, would be best choice? Or, alternatively, what am I missing that would be a better choice?
