Go into C/Programs/Ubi/Silenthunter 4 and you will find the exe there (it says Silent Hunter 4 mission editor I think.)
You can then make a shortcut and stick it on your desk top. Last edited by Egan; 04-11-07 at 03:46 PM. |

Mission Editor
Hi, If you look in your programme files on your hard drive, open the Ubisoft folder and you will find it in the Silent Hunter 4 folder

I sure would like to know the name of the file Darklight is referring to when he says the editor how to's is in the program folders. I have a downloaded copy of SHiv and there's really nothing I find remotely resembling instructions. Not listed in the SHiv manual that I notice.

I got a noob question to ask.
In the Sh3 editor the screen for mission parameters includes the mission title and description. So far so good. Now I’m here fooling around with the Sh4 editor and it isn’t there. That is all I see. I searched for it but can’t find it. Where can I set mission title and description in the sh4 editor? Or is it a bug? - I’m using vista 64bit. |

Go to the Missions menu/Language Localization. In the top window click the title and change in the bottom window, same for mission briefing.
