The game seems to crash to desktop when I load a save point, haven't tried any other save points yet, running NYGM 2.2.
Crashes during initialization, tried this 3 times with the same result......did my save become corrupted?

May I suggest for nothing other than what if, could you copy your SH3 directory from your My Documents to somewhere else then delete the My Documents\Sh3 directory. Start the game so that it generates a new directory, then exit. Then copy just the relevent career found under SH3\data\cfg\Careers, start SHIII and see if this works. I have seen hints that the issue may be related to crew configurations. So possibly another angle would be to make a copy of the Crew_Career_##.cfg of the previous good saved game and rename it to replace the bad career's version after you had renamed it. This is found under SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Career Name\ If that doesn't work, put the original file back and then do the same for the crew_config_InGame#.cfg file. This is found under SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Career Name\Last Number\ I have read that apparently if no previous saves in that patrol work the last resort to save a career is to delete the last directory number, SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Career Name\Last Number\ |
