Default Where did Bernard come from?

Now we all know of the U-Boat cluts Bernard. But where did he come from? Where did the whole Bernard thing start?

I remember seeing this question here before. Someone had the answer. As much as I remember, it is just a nickname given to the moron of the boat. I don't know where the actual name "Bernard" came from, probably just started with someone named Bernard, and carried on from there.

As Danlisa said, I am the mother & father of Bernard (cant really say that I´m proud of him) . It was just a random name I used in the first picture in the 'Humorous SHIII picture thread'.

I think bernard is an escapee from a mental hospital who was sentanced to death but managed to escape and managed to convince the navy to allow him on submarines.

Default There once was goat?

This reminds me of a certain goat that made the rounds of the 6th Fotilla. I think the goat was a bit more intelligent than Bernard.
