Jayw.,

HT 1.48 is almost finished. It is now in truth a big and complete unified GW+NYGM campaign with all the goodies of these two great mods. But I'm not sure yet when I will put it for public download. I'm in contact with boths Teams Managers (Teddy Bär and Kpt. Lehmann) to find a agreement from them. But I will at least wait the GW release which will be in more or less 10 days.

This new unified NYGM/GW HT will be compatible with boths and also with the stock installations.

Just wait and see!

Rubini.

That's what I've been waiting to hear!! I can't imagine SH3 without HT.

HT 1.47 has been the only reason for me not trying any other mode that messes with the campaign files.

Keep up the good work!

Wow !!!! These are really excellent news !!!!

Are you going to include the "6 Dials- Simfeeling Mod" by FLB sale U-999 in the new HT 1.48 mod? Please, include it. It is really an excellent addition to SH3 !!!

Rubini,

One question: I went to the rendez-vous point with the milk cow U-463 and I could not locate it. I was virtually on top of it, but couldn't see it. I tried to "dock" and I was offered that option; so it was there.

Is this normal?

In the past i have resupplied my u-boat in a Spanish port and I "docked" near a german resupply ship.

Thanks,

VonHelsching

VonHelsching,

The resupply uboats (U-tankers) are not stationed. They are in a looping movement near the rendezvou point. This will add a more challenge to the milk cow duties and more realistic way too. Then you need to find it , just use you visual, sonar or even radar (if you already have it) to find the U-tanker. But if you don't want all this just press ESC when you are ner the rendezvou point. This will work too, but I really like to find the uboat and maneuver near it, it's more imersive...

Cheers,

Rubini.

Thanks Rubini!

I also thought they were submerged and used my free-cam to spot it

Damn! I had light fog, and the radar was not activated! My 5 year son was sooo excited that we would meet a U-tanker! I guess I have to return back now.

We were heading for New York, near our patrol grid for a harbor raid

Gday Rubini,

I've just gotten back into SH3 after an enormous absence, and have downloaded your Ht1.47 mod.

However, i've seen screens of everyone elses home ports absolutely full of shipping. I, however, am still the entire kreigsmarine. Any ideas why this is? I've followed the installation instructions and all...:hmm:

thanks mate

Rubini's had some real-life things keep him out of circulation for a while, so he may not come around to answer for a while.

I don't know everything about it, but I'll ask this: did you transfer all of the files to their proper folders? It won't work unless everything is placed properly.

And I'll make a suggestion: check every single file for HT to work, then 'borrow' the same files from Grey Wolves. Rubini's last work was the HT system for that mod, and it far surpasses 1.47. If you take only the exact files and transfer them you can't go wrong.

Of course it's even better just to use the entire Grey Wolves, as you get all the benefits of that great mod plus the very latest Harbor Traffic.
