The sound bug was fixed for me then it returned after about 5 mins of playing... Also the realtime sound option is still fubard and that does re-effect the main sound of the crew voices it seems if used, unselecting it again didnot return the voices back to fixed state...

Major graphics bug, choose say what im in for starters as ive not tried anyother sub with it yet, choose salmon class, in command room raise obs periscope with keys to see it raise to full height.

Go up to the tower position and click on the observation tube for the scope and it comes into view with blue background around the unit.. and no handles etc..

moose..

edit: you have to click on the lower part of the pedestal in the conning tower view.. of the scope to get this to show..

In the Salmon class, the Observation scope is located in the Command Room.

Default Graphic Anomaly

Experienced an odd graphic anomaly. I'm using patch 1.1, though I'm uncertain if this was also present in version 1.0 as I never tested it.

I was testing the depth tolerance in the new S-42 class, when as soon as the lights flickered on and off, and after they came back on: the crew looked like you see below.

Before lights flickering:

After lights came back on:

Note: this is at night and the lights are rigged accordingly.

Anyone else experience this?

To Elanaiba....

Yes Im aware of that, what I meant to convey I guess was you cant select it in command room like the attack scope in the tower.. by clicking on the 3d tube.. but you can click on the bottom of the obs scop in the tower and that is when i see that anomaly.....

moose..

There is still a problem with the manual speed calculation.

After choosing ship class ----> stadimeter ----->angle on bow ------> speed. the chronometer will not calculate any speed of the vessel. Done it excactly as written in the manual..

confirmed!

Issues after the patch, perhaps still not addressed by this patch:

targeting:

in comparison to SHIII, here are all vessels preselected in the ship identification book

graphics:

settings:
full scene glare -> on
light shafts -> on
environmental effects -> off

the lookout crew looks solid

but if I switch
environmental effects -> on

they become transparent
(could be something in the shaders for this effect)

Sampans (sail ships) without screws produce screw bubbles

and therefore maybe noise on the passive sonar

played on:
AMD64 X2 4400+
2GB Ram
Asus 7800 GTX

Yes, I got that once, also, a few days ago. It only occurred one time so I didn't have any way to recreate it, and therefore decided not to report it.

LOL

Well, at least you know they're not "giving up the ghost" . I know it must be annoying, but it looks kinda funny too.

I'm quite offended by that picture, as it's totally unhistorical. Op Art and Black Light posters didn't become popular until the late '60s.
