Got any more of those waiting around to be put in the game? Or are they going to be surprises?

The Balao Class looks so beautiful... It's just too bad that we won't be able to command her.

:hmm: So if it's possible to bring SH2 units into SH3 now, then we should be able to bring in all the subs present in SH2/DC right? French, British, Dutch, Norwegian, Soviet, Japanese and American boats then. Which if this is the case this game gets better everyday.

But still no way to command the subs ourselves...

Oh my goodness... I keep drooling on my keyboard.

She looks 50 times more sexy than the S-class! Wow wow wow!

Is this a SH2 unit, or an entirely new model? If it is from SH2, there are other surface ships which could be useful too, but they would need 3d improvements before they could be brought up to SH3 standards. Nothing wrong with this one though.

50x0=0 hehe . But ur right she looks better... infact for some reason i think most of the WWII subs are really ugly. Not modellwise cause the modell is really awsome and i really like it. Will be intressing to see those on patrols in the North Atlantic. maybe we can even assign patrol grids to them in the SCR layer and have a shield like formation of Balaos in mid atlantic and S classes around the coasts of the US , Island , the British Islands and the Biscaya. I would volunteer to make a mergeable file for the *.SCR that could be used, if u send me the files.

But have these actually been of any relevance to the North Atlantic at all? I can see the smaller subs doing their work around Europe, but these guys...

Great-looking though. Maybe one day we'll make it to the pacific with them

Well, I think S-class boats along with the R-class did see Atlantic duty, not sure about the Fleet boats however.

Actually, I already have a merge-able SCR file with S-Class subs patrolling in areas where British operations were common throughout the war. I can make a few adjustments to it and post it if anyone wants it.

Tench Class Boats were in the Atlantic too , and those are really close in the looks compared to the Balao.
