I'll be uploading more snapshots of the interior texture development of the Kriegsmarine U-boat fleet today....stay tuned.

I thought this little interior mod woulden't take me long........oh how I misjudged that statement

There are alot of people who sacrifice time for this game...I for one salute those unselfish persons, names, list would be to f'n long, who give this game more than could be expected from the devs who actually made the sim...that from their unselfish nature and the love of the hunt make this a kick ass, fun sim...salute...

Default Tomi_099 New VIIC 41

hi Venatore I have been playing SH3 using Tomi_099 new VIIC 41 but there seems to be a problem with it if you approch any type of ship at periscope depth they can see you i dont know why this is but i nearly got shot to bits by a warship using his guns while i was at periscope depth in calm seas i had time to raise the periscope to see if anything was showing above the water but i could not see anything:hmm: the year was 1940 i dont think the new sub is useable and it looks so good too any type of ship including merchants can see you from a distance 2 to 3,000 metres just like if you where a on the surface

I haven't yet had a go with this new beast, It does come with "Sensors" which may be the cause. I'll do some testing this week and if I find the same thing we may have to make a joint effort to informing "Tomi_099".

This is concerning about them seeing you at that distance. I'll check his files against the standard VIIC variant.

It seems this is an on going problem i found an entry in his Eye candy thread and posted it on the new thread im so dissapointed i loved the look of this turm

can it be fixed:hmm: i dont have the skill

"Bump" means that I agree with you and I'm bumping your post along so the post remains current and at the top of the threads

It's used heaps in the threads to show the amount of people that are agreeing or have the some problem etc.
