If you sink a ballooned ship...
1) The ship sinks to the bottom and perhaps the balloon remains floating above the surface. 2) So then this sunk ship with floating balloon still has the tow-line strung from sunk ship to balloon... >>> Does this mean that the tow-line then becomes a potential hazard to the U-Boat? If yes, super! ![]() If not, this is all still so super! Thanks GWX-ers! p.s. - Is the balloon shoot-down-able? |

![]() ![]() Joking of course- to be honest I had the same curiousity as you and tried to sink one not so long ago in port, but the shallow waters meant it only sank up to the bridge on an even keel, so i never did find out ![]() Perhaps one of the testers will englighten us provided the infomation isnt classified. |
