Yup, I used to play SCI at mate's place online back in the day when it was just released. And it was then when I saw the true nature of the game; the opponent had his base literally swarming with space marines, like 200 space marines. Can't do much about that.

The nature of the game becomes the nature of the gamer, adapt or lose, which in SC's case is learn to build ****loads of troops fast.

I've become accustomed to games that last hours, days, weeks and months. Not 30 minutes.

Haha, that lazer drill mission was fun. The thing could shoot anywhere on the map if it was "unfogged". So, what I did was, I trained few ghosts with the "Cloak uses no energy" upgrade and parked them into the enemy bases. Didn't take long to systematically destroy the bases.

I hate games that rush you. I like to not just enjoy the challenge but the environmental effects, sounds, etc... They need to take it down a notch or few. Speedy games don't interest me.

Anyone from Australia playing this? I'm looking for some multiplayer action. PM your game id and I'll add you.

All you guys playing overseas are welcome to add me, but the latency on my end will probably prevent an enjoyable game.

Zerg rush is more likely to prevent an enjoyable game.

Starcraft is rather... popular there, to say the least.
