Terrapin, you should be able to offer gaming magazines the right to distribute a CD with this bundle on it, free within an upcoming issue.

Thats a brilliant idea. Get hold of PCPP (PCPowerplay gaming magazine) www.PCPowerplay.com.au an aussie mag , they put out every month with lots of mods patches etc for games. If you told them about your mod they would gladly put it on there next dvd. Its only 180mb so they would say yes to that, plus there mags come out with 2 dvds so space is no problem.

They also reviewed SH3 and gave it a 9/10 score. Which is a first, cos they didn't review SH2 very well when it came out.

THEN I CAN BUY THE MAG AND TRY OUT THE MOD. You see i only have 56k.

ok i can't handle it any longer.... ive started the DL....Speed is 4.2kb per sec, its 1:25pm New Zealand time, i reckon the mod should be ready in 18hrs from now! LOL :rotfl:

Fired this up last night.

A couple of things:

1. I didn't lose the camapign I am currently playing!

2. When I reached my patrol zone I sighted a trawler. I went to my navigator station and noticed there was a graphic of a sunked ship...I had fired no torps and I didn't get credit for sinking anything. Is this a leftover from last mission?..same patrol zone.

3. How do I get the map updates back on the TDC? I know it isn't realistic but I have gotten used to it.

4. The traffic around Lorient was almost too much...I almost ran into a few ships when I cranked up time.

5. It will take some getting used to the "bridge" button taking me to the conning tower and not the bridge.

My guess is that it is the larger waves included with this bundle. Small ships in large waves don't mix too well.

I work for a mag that has a cover dvd, and mods is something we put on now and then, provided the author allows it. I'd love to have this on "on board".

I just can't find the download section on the website. There is supposed to be a IUB and Mods section but where the heck is it?

EDIT: I just noticed the top news item (so small I missed it!) pointing out the file library is offline. Damn. Any mirrors anyone knows of? I need my SHIII fix these holidays!
