I was very much amused by his reply to you in which he labeled the Native Americans a conquered people and then likened them to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. He should run for office.

I went to a good friends grandfathers funeral last year in South Dakota.He was a Corneal in the USAF and fought in WWII with the AAF in stead of
Arlington he wanted to buried near his old home in SD.The honor guard where Lakota Sioux veterans not only did they show up but about 50 other
Lakota vets also where there they gave him the full military honors and then a traditional Lakota warrior honoring.It was the most emotional and inspiring
funeral I have ever witnessed.These Lakota did not even know personally who they where burying and honoring yet they showed up.

They must not have been the Laktoa Yubba mentioned.For many Native Americans at least ones that serve in the military the reasoning is that their nation
is inside the US and is allowed to exist by the goverment so if the US falls so does their nation a mutual respect.

Angeleno here. There are indeed quite a lot of Persians here in LA and two of my closest friends are Iranian. No need to panic; while many are proud of their heritage, they have little to no love for Ahmedinejad or the Ayatollahs (in fact, by and large they think they're crooks) and think that the Embassy crisis hostage-takers are a disgrace to Iranians everywhere.

I am sure, I was not saying they are terrorists etc I was expressing a larger concern of the dangerous demographic shifts we ALLOW as it is a real threat to our country from the inside out.Sure, I did not use pc language or whatever, but that was my point.I know Steve, it's how I said it.

Reminds me of a paper I wrote on discussion regarding degeneration in 1900 to 1929. It was four years ago and I still remember vividly the article which "proved" that in 30 years all people will be alcoholics, thieves, drooling morons and physically incapable of doing almost anything. This was supposed to be a huge threat to the society and the scientific truth, because the numbers supported it all.

Precisely. "The industrial work requires so little wits and physical condition that these days anyone can feed a family" was an often repeated line. Along with how towns are the source of all evil anyway, with workers gambling and drinking all their money away.

And since both people living in towns as well as people working in factories were a growing part of the society, degeneration was bound to happen.
