I began using the 60 day trial version of Paintshop. Good stuff.
When the trial period ran out, I switched to the free version of GIMP. It's a good program. Really. Then I went and got Photoshop CS2. Of the three programs, I'd have to say that Photoshop is the best of the bunch... But really, all three are above adequate. If you have one, then you know what the other two are about. It's not really necessary to try out the competition... Oh, and get Irfanview if you want to quicky view TGA's. Unlike PSP, PS, and GIMP, it has no loading time. It's a small download too. But it's all up to you. ![]()

Yeah I'll definitely stick with the GIMP. I'm pretty impressed with it, and it's free. Since I'm not an artist and I don't make my living doing graphics type stuff, the GIMP is plenty for me. I wouldn't mind trying that Irfanview though, I don't like waiting on the GIMP to load up any time I just want to look at a TGA.
