Well thanks I got the opens seas crap down...my bud and I play many a mission on the open seas. But what is funner and keeps you on your toes is trying to crawl into a harbor and sink key ships and make it out...this becomes frustrating when hearing the guitar riffs and knowing something aint right. Then I have to fly around and find just why this happened...open seas maps kewel...harbor raids...very kewel..We have made over 15 maps between us but time spent making mods once this happens becomes tiresome and not that much fun.

Even though you've placed the unit, you may not have made it a PLAYER unit.
To do this, select the unit icon. Then right click and select "Properties". When you get the window with the units properties, look for a little check box labelled "Human Controlled" or something like that, and then check it. Then close the properties window (click "Accept") and try re-validating your mission again. |

Your mission will have a start date. You can find this by going to the "Mission-->Parameters" menu. This is the date/time when the mission starts.
The IXC has an entry date. This is the date at which this class of U-Boat was introduced into service. You can find this by clicking on the unit to highlight it, then right click and select properties. Look for "entry date", about half way down. You can change the entry date within certain limits. Otherwise you will need to alter the date in which your mission occurs. I hope that helps! ![]() |

i have created a mission consisting of my uboat and a merchants only convoy and placed them very close to gether on the map but no matter how close i put them when i play the mission i cannot find the convoy at all even when we are on converging courses.although i did find another convoy by chance and even managed to blow up a corvette by ramming it(or rather it rammed me).
