"Snoozefest?" What about all the very uber-exciting racing storylines?
  • Will the Pirelli tires degredate into puddles of stinky black goo before the end of the formation lap?
  • Will it rain in Sepang? When?
  • Will it rain some more in Sepang? When?
  • Will using KERS result in an increase in global warming, or just post-nucelar apocalytpic indigestion?
  • Is the little flap on the rear wing that opens and closes at the driver's command really deserving of a 25 cent name like "drag reduction system" if it's whole purpose appears to be to give the TV talkers multiple chances every lap to say "HE'S OPERATING THE DRS!!!!!" as if 17th place had suddenly produced hellfire rockets out of its radiator ducts?
  • Will Massa punch out Alonso before Nico punches out Michael, or should he wait until Hungary?
  • Does Lewis Hamilton know all of the Pussycat Dolls? Or just the one?
This is pure FIA excitement, I tell you. Plus, I hear that there's a race, too.

I was entertained by this race...until lap 33, when my DVR stopped recording it.

First two laps of the Chinese GP along with the last seven were good. On the whole a little better than the last two, just.

Webber gets my vote for going for it even after a wheel came off.

Button gets my vote for the biggest plonker in the pits, time for him to nip down to spec savers I think.

I thought it was (by far) the best race of the season. Fricken' Weber has got some stones, doesn't he?

Three weeks off (until Istanbul) seems dreadfully long this early in the season, though. Gimmee some racing!

Got to say that was one of the best races i have seen in a very long time.
Plenty of action and plenty of stuff to chuckle at at.
Its looking like a very promising season.

what do you think about the Turkey GP? I think Hamilton can get into podium if he doesn't get the tyre drama when he change tyre, and what happen to Rosberg? he started very good to 2nd place, now he dropped to 5th, what's wrong with mercedes???

This is why I've stopped watching F1. The results are decided on Saturday afternoon, rather than a blazing drive ala Webber in China on a Sunday. Its not a spectacle anymore. Its Wrestling, on 4 wheels at 300 kph.

kobayashi did a very good race, though. Started from the last, he improve to 10th, well, not good as webber did in china, but it's pretty good for a sauber.

I am getting a bit tired of Vettel immediately pulling away from the rest of the pack on lap 1. The race was fun to watch, but it's weird that all the interesting stuff didn't involve the leader in any way - he was barely shown in the coverage I saw until the final lap.

I think the FIA should require the installation of a drag chute on Vettel's car to make the race more interesting.
