the problem with the game @night is

there is to much contrast on objects, so i dont like to be able to see my crew on the bridge, shining like glowworms, same for the bow waves and so on.

sometimes i turn my display contrast down to stop this, together with rising brightness a bit, sometimes playing with gamma also...

this can be done to suit your taste from filters , cfg and env folders - no need to play with your display settings each time

Excellent atmosphere changes as ussual, Between Blue, Env nights, and Realistic color I think I'm using nearly everything you made. haha

Whats this dark interior mod? And I agree that pic looks awfully black.. but it could just be the pic.

Hi pal,
How would this be different compared to sober's superb fog mod v5? Provided you make it, should/could they be used together, sort of complementing each other, or what?

the sober mod change only the visual fog distance - i want to make the mod to be used with this sober mod - my mod will change only the color of the fog not the distance that you can see the ships... if the fog color is change in real life... i do not know ... maybe the fog color is the same all over the place in reality

That's a fast reply - shouldn't you still be sleeping, over in Canada?
Actually, i can't really imagine how fog or mist colour could change, sort of like snow is always white. Then there are of course other matters that colour the environment, like sunlight, moonlight etc., but fog itself, in my mind, always has that light greyish tint, and those other light colour elements just pass through it or, if the fog is dense, get absorbed or 'filtered' outside.
I'm no fog scientist, but that's how I understand it. For example, I have never seen yellowish fog on the open sea, otherwise it might have been mustard gas, heaven forbid.
