R e l e a s e "rendsburg turnable road-bridge"

Hello everyone!

The test phase is now successfully completed ... and this is the download
for the "Rendsburg_turnable_road-bridge_mod" is available.

DOWNLOAD *** http://www.mediafire.com/?noyhjmetwwz

Unavoidable in turn to read the attached "Manuall_SDB_De_En.pdf" and specifically exempted from "Thfeu58" his manuall drawn to his "SH3TerrainRepacker".

Attention :
to unpack 7z-files the tool 7z is required, to read the PDF-file you will need Adobe Reader!

7z Link *** http://www.7-zip.org/
Adobe Reader Link *** http://www.adobe.com/de/products/reader/

Especially thanks to our grandmaster, rowi58, for the very good animations, that the bridge brings to alive.
Thanks also to kaptnhaddock, he gave the "Opel Blitz" model.

And now ... a lot of fun, just like a little patience when installing Hopes.

Ottibald:
I just downloaded this, and i am trying to use it following you instructions. however, I am stuck in the part related to the Locations.CFg file since the instructions are only in german.
As far as I understand I must add the part of the bridge to my own Locations.CFG, correct? but what part belongs specifically to the bridgeand should I add it just copying it into my own Locations.CFG file?
The other part I didn't understand is the repacking process...
So, if you could please explain this a little bit more, i will thank you for the rest of my life.
Thanks a lot for your cooperation and patience

Hi CapZap1970,

the most simple way to get the bridge is the following way:
- first step: i presume that you are using a super-MOD with Kiel Canal (GXX). Just copy the folder "Rendsburger_Strassen_Drehbruecke_Mod" from your D/L into your MODS-folder. Aktivate this with JSGME.
- second step: open the file "Campaign_LND.mis" with the "MissionEditor", select "Land", then "German" and then "RR-Bridge", drag this enty to the place you want to see the bridge;
- drop that into the middle of the Kiel Canal, adjust the "tail" (of this object) you see parallel to the Canal (in MissionEditor: Heading).

That's all for the "classic" Kiel Canal terrain. Then make a small test-mission to proofe whether the location of the bridge is o.k.

Greetings
rowi58

EDIT: i mean the second folder "Rendsburger_Strassen_Drehbruecke_Mod" with the one sub-folder "data" and then "Land" and "Roster".

Buenos diaz, CapZap1970!

For installation of the bridge the "Locations.cfg" is not needed! It brought them only in connection with the new terrain to the ports and localities to place properly.
A little help might give this LINK below, if a few words in German is not to be understood: http://translate.google.com/translate_t##

Bonito que te gusta el puente,
regarts, Ottibald

R e l e a s e "HOLTENAU LIGHTHOUSE AREA"

Hello everyone!

The test phase is now successfully completed ... and this is the download
for the "Holtenau_Lighthouse_Area_mod" is available.

DOWNLOAD: http://www.mediafire.com/?wfnmlywxw0j

Unavoidable in turn to read the attached "Manuall_LTH_De_En.pdf" and specifically exempted from "Thfeu58"
his manuall drawn to his "SH3TerrainRepacker". It could be the area even without the new ground include, but
are required knowledge, with the mission editor.

Attention:
to unpack 7z-files the tool 7z is required, to read the PDF-file you will need Adobe Reader!

7z LINK: http://www.7-zip.org/

Adobe Reader LINK: http://www.adobe.com/de/products/reader/

Especially thanks again to our rowi58, for the help, to realise this project.
Also many thanks to Thfeu58 for the preparation of the terrain, like in the Bridges.

For installation of the area the "Locations.cfg" is not needed! It brought them only in connection
with the new terrain to the ports and localities to place properly.
A little help might give this LINK below, if a few words in German is not to be understood: http://translate.google.com/translate_t##
In the following release, about Sept. 2009, by LSH III (4.1 or 5.0?, isn't fixed), the “Levensau Highbridge”, the “Rendsburg turnable road-bridge” and this "Holtenau lighthouse area", with new Terrain is integrated.

And now ... a lot of fun, just like a little patience when installing Hopes.

Could anybody familar with the mission editor integrate these bridges and monuments into the GWX3-St naz and schluese mod. I had a look but am sorry to say that i'm not confident enough with the mission editor to try.
