Have a play around with the filters. The main ones I use are Blur, Noise and Render. I start off in Picassa by making the image B&W or Sepia, I play around with the shadows and highlights and glow until I'm happy with the look then move into PS or GIMP where I add the border, depth of field blurring and film grain. I then add a new layer and mess with the scratches, hairs and damage effects using different brushes and brush thicknesses, turn that into an overlay layer and viola an old looking photo.

Keep at it until you come up with something that you like.

Default SAS captures german U-Boat!!

January 18, 1940 The British Special Air Service captures a German U-Boat. The SAS members found this U-Boat loaded with equipment and research documents and a small amount of torpedos in the bow compartment. Crates where found to contain parts for a windtunnel, wooden models for tests, a large amount of blueprints, and highly detailed documents for aircraft that where never seen before, all of these where ready for shipment back to Germany. With this vital research now obtained by the English the Germans will have much longer to get newer and better aircraft that could possably win the Germans the war.

HD2 is a good game for realism and comando stuff. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that you can't throw the knifes.
