Well at least the Boers have their own militias to my knowledge.

I guess that's why the South African government is passing strict firearms laws and dismantling the commando system. They probably consider such defensive capability undesirable.

Some Finnish Boers said in TV some time ago that the situation is so bad that they have to be armed constantly.
