That's how ebay shows the bid when you do put in how much you want to bid and someone else bids against you, it shows you bidding more than once.

So far six bids, but they are all by only 2 people. Why do so many people bid more than once?!
There's no need to bid more than once; if you simply put in how much you're willing to spend, eBay takes care of all the bidding autmatically.

IMHO the coolness of the manual is very exagerated by people that do not own it.

Also be aware that you can use the manual very well to ID a target. But one should not use it to estimate AOB.

I believe this is probably very true, even though I'm one of those people.

For me it was just sort of a cool novelty to have, like a collectors item type thing, especially since they're no longer available.

But I always ask myself...What's the point? Kinda silly when the manual is right there on the screen, which is far more convenient. Clearly the thing will just sit on the shelf next to the game box, just so I can say I have one.

I bet there's a lot of people who got one, that would probably sell it now that the excitement has worn off.

I won't bid on it even though I did want one, 'cause I know I'll look at it once, mutter the word 'cool', then stick it on a shelf to collect dust.

Just out of curiosity, what is the size of the book? When it's closed, what's the horizontal length of the cover? Would it have fit in the game box, or is it bigger?

:-)
I have printed recognition manual. I received it with the game. I bought polish-german version (by cenega.pl).

I like it despite of the lack of swastikas (I like such games to be historicaly accurate).

Anyway. I was mad because my game is in version 1.2 and cenega have not released any patch until last weeks. Anyway, I tried to use mods and I god mixed polish-english interface... or even some errors during game loading. So with the help of my friend I bought the game in Australia :-) EMEA version.

.AU version has printed map included :-) Now I have both, recognition manual and the map (SH3_MAP.jpg). The map is really helpfull - now I don't have to boot second computer to find konvoy routes. It's dimensions: 54x44,8 cm.

I've seen on this forum that somebody posted a screenshot of in-game map with convoy routes. Which mod adds this feature and does it conflict with RUB?
