Cheers but I was a little shocked when he rang me with the news because he went on to inform me that despite the fact he is already a fully qualified Master (a prerequisite of the Pilot job) he has a further three exams to pass over the next four years.

Well pilots are very much highly responsible people they have to know everything about their patch and for him to make it is great not many people do.
A friend of mine Peter Dissing is a pilot in Copenhagen Denmark he has told me its tougher to do a pilots course than a masters license so defiantly hats off to your son. The Canadian and American Great lakes are a good trial by fire especially when the saltys come in to play.
