My system does not have the Turbo boost 3.0
Not even sure if it has 2.0 to be honest. I'd say give it a try (I would) and if it does not work? Get rid of it. Just make sure you have a restore point just to be safe. |

CTD - it's not just a job

Turbo Boost is just an optimization applet. It studies the user's habits, and the computer's response, and tries to coordinate efficiency... sort of like pre-fetch, it may work, and it may not...
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...echnology.html ... it's nothing like the old "Turbo Boost" button on the 486DX2-66, where with it out, the computer ran at 33mHz, and with it in, at 66... |

It really works!
Okay a little updat on the program that Jeff gave a link to in the first post. IT WORKS!!!! I am now able to run Anvars reworked gwx mod with over 500 ships in the sea folder. And I also have ARB’s GUI installed. I set the priority of the shIII . exe to real-time and no problems.
I think that everybody should use this. |

Hi,
I tested sh3 wac5 with priority on high and i do not see that the game runs better. But not tested yet with priority set on real time wich is the max level ! Should that not be dangerous for the PC ? |

I think where everybody will see a big difference is the ability to run large ram eating mods together. Like ARB’s GUI with MEP v6 and a large sea folder with 300 to 500 or so ships etc.
