Then I have lost all respect for the NFL.

It's bad enough that they've gone all sissified in regard to tackling.
With today's protective gear, injuries resulting from hitting shouldn't be a problem. Imagine if they were still wearing the leather helmets.
I might just turn my attention to Rugby. That's a man's sport with no protective gear other than socks.
Football seems to be filled with nothing but overpaid prima donnas anymore.

Only the first round of the draft occurs on Thursday.

Traditionally, Day 1 picks are the players most would expect to make an immediate impact. From the moment the Houston Texans select—or trade—the top pick, the majority of the NFL universe will have their eyes glued to the television or social media.

Teams have 10 minutes to make their selections.

So if you're a New England Patriots fan, you may be waiting until around 11 p.m. ET—or later—for the Pats' 29th overall pick.

I still think his upside was worth the risk. And the Bears did not use him properly, I think he will be better utilized in Green Bay. Matthews needs some help, so far Perry has not been it.
