Good games for laptops
So I am now relegated to a laptop for most of my PC work and fun. I can tell that AOK HD is laggy as hell, probably because I am now playing on a laptop.
![]() Just for fun, what are some of your favorite games you can play on your laptop (besides Solitare)? I realize a lot depends on CPU and G-card, so if you don't mind including that info....I'm trying to find out my laptop's specs but Windows 7 has made it hard to find the System info. ![]() Edit: Ah, I found it. I have a Pentium Dual Core 4300 2.1 GHz 3GB Ram 64 bit Win 7 Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset video thanks Neal SUBSIM |

On my laptop I have installed SH3 + GWX3 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2, and that's I can say is well that it is capable of it, had previously H.A.W.X and then lagged it some .. so I think it is best and use the desktop for more complex games, then the graphics are so intense

Dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock http://www.grimrock.net/media/
It plays like the good old Dungeon Master but looks a lot better.

A nice laptop game is "tickle the stripper's bum".
![]() Or are we talking about a different laptop? ![]()

On my laptop i use most of my games, like SH5, X-plane, IL-2 1946, etc.
I plug it to a monitor, mouse and keyboard. It just depends on the laptop, which in my case, is for gaming (a little old; core 2 duo processor, Nvidia GTX260, and 6GB of Ram). On your Computer, most likely you still could run games like SH3, Age of pirates, oblivion. (and any other game released around 2006). Still fun to play those!

Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe, if you're in to that sort of thing.
http://www.openttd.org/en/ It's like the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe but with a ton of user made addons which include new vehicles, new graphics, and so on. Since you're an Amoosican, I'd recommend the NARS: http://users.tt-forums.net/pikka/wik...S_Vehicle_List which you can download through the ingame online content search engine. Armoured Brigade: http://www.armoredbrigade.com/ A very good freeware Cold War real time tactical wargame, I haven't played it in a while, but it's constantly being updated and has a good team behind it. Worth checking out if you're into the genre. Panzer General Forever http://www.pgforever.info/ Tough one to master this, hex turned based wargame, a classic, and comes in several flavours, Axis, Allies and World War One. All of these three will probably run on any laptop made after 2004. |
