Thank you for your trouble - I shall give it a try. In the middle of a mission.....

Hi, vH - I corrected the parameters in the SH3 Comm. .cfg file, saved them and rolled back the Commander before starting the game. Same result as before.

What I have changed is the ready dates of the Zaunkønig II (IDX=9) to 1939. No deal. After that I also changed the standard torpedo load-up of the IXB in 1941. Didn't do any good, either. Going back to the file I see the changes are still there.

Whom should I ask?

Fred

I am out of ideas.
Let me think it over and I will come back to you.

Meanwhile maybe another Kaleun can throw in an idea.

Well, well - what d'you know! Going out on my 7. patrol in Mar 41 I suddenly discovered that I actually have a couple of ZK II onboard. Since they were not on the selection list presented before departure they can only have been loaded routinely according to what I designated for a Type IXB to have onboard in 1941.

Report to follow.......

So, it looks like the game sorted it out itself.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Looks like it. We'll see on the next patrol. It is a little irritating, though, not to be able to have them show up in the selection list at the start......

Well , think of it like this : The TXI torpedo was very expensive and rare - in fact it never made it to combat use.
So , you have pulled some strings in the very high levels of command and took 2 of these on board off the record.

Is that where the parameters for getting the various torps up on the selection list when starting a new patrol is?
