Being a video game movie it will probably suck, but being set the the "ME Universe" will at least give it the potential not to.

I hope they stay away from the game plots completely. Game fans would feel put off if the screen Shepard is very different from "their" Shepard. Something focusing more on the human discovery of Prothean tech and the First Contact War would steer them clear of that, and leave lots of room for it to become a movie franchise if the first is successful.

That would be the best way to go, I think. Avoid both games' plots and explore more of the ridiculously detailed universe BioWare invented.

And there had better be some decent ship-to-ship combat!

Silent Hill is a good movie, almost matched perfectly to the game series.

Only thing they captured was the atmosphere. Hearing the airraid siren always triggered some panic in the game, got the same vibe in the movie.

Didn't it also has the creepy theme music?

It has the first 15 seconds of at the beginning, other than that I don't know if the music is the same or similar, been a long time since I played SH.

Don't think the music is remarkable, but it fits with the scenes.

Ya, that one. The beginning is the only part I like about the track. Always reminds me of the old witch from SH1.
