Im not sure is that a threat or some twisted way of belittleling.

The Chuhnas dont celebrate this victory of totalitarianism over half of Europe.

We celebrate our grandparents for keeping us free of these parties.

There is an excellent film about it "A Bridge Too Far" with S. Connery and Anthony Hopkins

I.e. you wish to tell that the Victory Day is a totalitarianism victory? And as thousand victims in Arnhem and Normandy, at storm of Berlin, Warsaw. Thousand Poles, Russian, Englishmen, Germans, Yugoslavs I do not think that they died for the sake of a policy...

We can be civil, we can do business but there will never be reconciliation until you give something concrete back.

This is the overwhelming majority view in Finland, order a poll if you dont believe me.

Im not holding you personally responsible but your government celebrates and promotes an attitude and interpretation that Finnish governments or people will never accept.

Amen to that. KARJALA PERKELE!!!

Tho, Karelia is in very bad shape, so it would propably be more of a burden for us, but we can give you Åland for rent, we dont need that.

Yes Susexx, you have right. Gene Hackman as gen. Stanisław Sosabowski. Gen. Sosabowski was a tragic hero. He was a very talented officer, fought during defend of Warsaw in September 1939 as a commander of 21st Infantry Regiment "Children of Warsaw". In England he was founder of first parachute unit in Polish Army, established for fighting against Germans in occuped Poland. Unfortunately British didn't want to send 1st Parachute Brigade to Poland. They forced Polish headquarter to use brigade on Western Front in "Market-Garden" operation. Brigade has lost 50% soldiers in Arnhem. Sosabowski knew and said that "Market-Garden" operation is a big mistake of marshall Montgomery and was dismissed for British wish. After war he worked as ordinary worker. He is a very good example of British "gratitude" for Polish soldiers fighting under British headquarter during WW2.

Hey, wait, you sold Alaska to us. Why do we need to give it back? Lol, we will sell you back Alaska, but you cannot afford it With interest, you would owe us $33,619,400,154.00 dollars

That's 33 trillion, just in case.

Ah, now I found the quote (heck was in one of my own threads. ):

(speaking to finnish troops after the war)
You did not want war; you loved peace, work and progress;
but you were forced into a struggle in which you have achieved
great deeds, deeds that will shine for centuries in the annals of history.

- Mannerheim

Full speech here:
http://www.kevos4.com/mannerheims_speech.htm

And this is why my blood starts to boil whenever the talk goes to the finno-russo war;

Peace has been concluded between our country and the Soviet Union, an exacting peace which has ceded to Soviet Russia nearly every battlefield on which you have shed your blood on behalf of everything we hold dear and sacred.
