I opened up on the cruisers from about 4500-5000m and it was getting dark (or getting light, I can't remember).
Lots of shooting but I don't think they ever hit me. Or if they did it was minor damage. I, on the other hand, manually manning the gun, chewed them up pretty good before I had to run for it! ![]() Steve |

The scary thing is, I didn't realise it was a Q ship until I checked my patrol report in Commander. I remember the searchlights coming on, then switching off again, but no return fire. Guess my eel must have hit a sweet spot, because I got the 'She's going down' message, just after the lights came on. A damn close call ![]() |
