The way I see it is simple: if you don't like it being there, really, don't read it, don't respond to it. The back button is never far away.

1. In past years I had posted it as pdf on a sharing site. I know two such sites, and they both did not work when I tried them now. The old download links where I uploaded it, are no longer valid, after several years. Downloading a pdf would have given it in a better visual format, easier to read - don't expect me to not knowing that. My homepage with webspace that I once had, also got shut down when I changed the provider long time ago.

2. For PMs it is too long.

3. Respenus asked for it, and mentioned that eventually other people might be interested as well. He was right to some degree, I got two mails confirming that interest. And not everybody reading it has mailed me, I'm sure.

4. If somebody does not want to spend attention to this text, and do not want attention being spend to it by others - why does he spend attention to posting about a text that he does not want attention being spent to, and probably has not read and has no intention to read in the future?

5. I considered to ask the mod to lock this thread after I posted the text, to prevent this becoming a sidetracked discussion about the how and why, or another debate about Islam. But if that would have been done, some would have accused me again that I insist on just having my stuff getting posted, and preventing other "opinions" to be published as well. I already get accused quite frequently that I do not respect other people's opinions. Whether I see that claim justified or not, is something different, however: the claim is being made.

The thing is very simple. Those of you interested in it, read it. Those of you who are not, don't. Problem solved. This is Spar... This is General Topics, I mean: more than just submarines and navy stuff. And I cannot help but wonder if one or two guys maybe are just against posting this text, because they do not like what it says.

However, if a mod would lock this thread, I would not object, to prevent a slowly but constantly continuing debate about an issue that is no issue at all. The reason for this text posted has been explained several times now. There is nothing more to say.
