I'm sure I don't need to point out that I'm no photographer, or that the darn camera suffers from barrel distortion.
I think the photos 1+3+4 are fine composed.
And I agree; being the first person to walk through the snow is great.

Keep those photos coming from the rest of you too, if you receive any snow.

Great pics. I love visiting the snow. Only a few hours drive from here but it almost never snows here. (Last time was in 1968)

What if we don't get snow? Can we post pics?

Yesterday I went fishing wearing shorts, flip flops, and a tank top. Might do the same today. It's clear blue sky, supposed to be 70° F (21° C), light ocean breeze. Sounds like a great day for fishing. Just saw the High Surf Advisory, might just go surfing instead.

I hope y'all enjoy the snow.

Got snow, got cold temp. Don't know if I want to risk my digi cam outside, I might take some with my cell phone cam if you can bear the crappy quality.

You know what I like about snow when it's actually coming down? How it absorbs sound and makes everything quieter.

Also, in general the skies during winter seem so much more dramatic!!!

Here's a view from the other side of the coin.

My friend left Aalborg over the weekend and hasn't returned yet.
I hope he got a long run down to the warm countries, and isnt stuck in this someplace.
Even more so, I hope both he and his truck (a fairly new Man) are OK.

I realize that most of you won't be able to read the story, but there is a short video clip.

Now let's see if the link takes.:

My car battery died last night because i forgot my cd player on..
The car is an Volvo s60, so the battery is situated in the trunk that was frozen stuck. The doors were also frozen so it took some time to get in, it was a cold night, probably around -25C.

Not much snow here where I live, the south of England has had more than where I live.

Ahhh, the wonderful British climate

Snow is nice, ice, not so much.

It's those darn mild winters; gets just above freezing during the day. Part of the snow melts, and refreezes during the night. Yesterday was slippery, today... well, let's just say I skated to the supermarket this morning.

Exactly. I went out to make some more photos during the daytime today, will upload some more photos later, and during these 3-4 hours I could really sence the snow was melting, especially in mid city, where all the last present shoppers ran confused around from shop to shop, smashing the snow under their shoes till the snow was nothing but slush...

According to TV2, you may get another 7cm, and Morts may see another 15cm.
They caution about possible ice over the whole land.

Please, be careful, you 2.
And anybody else effected!
