I took the freedom to get motivated by jimbuna and Stabiz to launch this:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=154116

Feel free to contribute your good links and precious info! Just don't scatter the thread, so that all stuff can be easily found again.

Yes , this shows it in action
There's very little actual footage of one in action , I was surprised I even found this bit.

Ah yes, I saw this too. I'd like to see it firing in slow motion.

The Sturmtiger is another example of bad late-war German tank designs. It was truly a fearsome weapon, but the Germans were never in a position to use it as intended.

Nice! I would like a quality die cast model of the Pz4 F2, Tiger, Panther, Jagdpanther or Flak 88, so I am going to look at those. The museum had a gift shop, but it looked pretty robbed, all I saw was a small StuG in metal, all the rest was plastic toyish stuff.

More pics:

T38 (this one was named Wilde Sau, meaning Wild Sheep, I reckon):

Me looking though the 75mm gun of a Panther:

Remote-controlled mine, it explodes.

That A7V has to be one of the strangest tanks ever built...

Oh, T38? Don't you mean Panzer 38(t)?

Oh, is that A7V an original tank or a replica? I heard only 1 survived and it's in Australia...
