That depends. What version of SH3 are you using? If it's Stock 1.4b then the game has high res textures available.

Using a MOD, such as GWX, these textures are optimised to allow fast loading while keeping a high res crisp image in game.

Trust me, using any res over 1024 x 768 will make a HUGE difference.

Damn Nikbear. Ok, SH3 will not run in widescreen resolutions using this mod. In fact, it should default to a res it can handle. What was the file listed in the eroor report when you had to Ctrl Alt Delete? Also, try a resolution of 1280 x 960. I know your monitor can't do this res but like I said, SH3 will default to someting it can accept. Did you run the res fix uninstaller when it didn't work for you before trying to load your files.

HmmmA lot of conflicting info there,some saying you need to run the windows application toolkit,some saying you don't,some saying you don't need the dll files,others have it running in 1440x900 fine it seems.Mine apperas to be working with some of the careers but 2 don't load at all,could be just those careers which have always given problems just when trying to put new mods in JSGME,I think I will have to do some testing and see what happensthanks for your help I will let you know How I get on

Oh, I was under the impression that ALL your careers etc were CTD'ing. Although it now sounds as if the fix is working as it should.

Tried it this morning and all the careers are now CTDing,have deleted it and see if things are ok without it This computer hates me

It says res fix for sh3 - xp sp2.

Does this means it doesn't work on vista????
