Yeah, in a situation where one of the passengers is armed, it's more likely that the punks will be armed too. And since there's three of them, and they have the initiative, I don't see how the situation would turn out better.

In the end, your life / health > a stupid wallet. Everyone goes through that calculation and acts accordingly. But that's what gives the scum the chance to commit the crime in the first place.
