Just bought this today. I played a couple missions so far and I like the cinematic approach. I do enjoy the destructible cover. The squad leader stuff actually seems annoying to me, as I just like to go in and shoot Germans in the face. If I want to coordinate an assault and lead men in battle, I play WWIIOL.
With that said, the game seems very polished so far. Anyone with any thoughts about this game so far? |

I bought it last week and I've decided that I really enjoy this game. I actually find that the squad leader element is one of my favorite parts of the game, along with the intense gore (
![]() The only thing that annoys me really is the somewhat rinse-and-repeat style that you use when playing through it. The ol' find 'em, fix 'em, flank 'em, and finish 'em is a fun concept until you are forced to keep doing it over and over and over again. That said, I had a blast playing through the single player portion and have been playing it consistently for the past week or so. ![]() |

Got it and liked it! Play it through and play it again with the authentic difficulty, makes it even better.

Probably has a linear storyline.

Either way, a forced linear storyline automaticly makes a game **** for me. |
