No self-respecting captain would take a shot at such a long range, unless the target was absolutely stationary.
Even then with the air bubbles generated by the steam-powered torps, it just gives away your presence too early.

I have a question and to avoid another thread, I pretty sure I started at Port Brisbane for my first time. I can't end patrol for some reason, am I supposed to dock at another port from where I started? I'm at the end of patrol 7 with my first try at using my new Balao class sub, this is my first new port from my old port of pearl. Thanks for any help!
