I know what you mean....it's taken over a year for Kpt. and I when communicating on TS to get to understand the difference in meaning of identical words in our respective countries. We are still encountering new ones regularly

I once read a book on exactly that. One of my favorite sections:

What we call the bonnet, Americans call the hood.
What we call the hood, they call the roof.
What we call the boot, they call the trunk.

And when visiting, never, NEVER tell an American woman "I'll come 'round tomorrow and knock you up."

Not wanting to talk out of school, but one of our first experiences went something like:

jimbuna "I'm out with the guys tomorrow night to celebrate a birthday. I'm glad I'm not at work the day after because there's a good chance I'll get pis*ed"

Kpt "Who is it your going to get angry with Jim ?"

Hi out there!

Very good looking and very athmosperic!!!
Only thing I like to know how my officiers selct their looks?
Still two have the same tailor I think



And maybe someone explains me in a free minute how to make such things to say thx with own skins or differend mods!
