I would welcome it if some moderator would get the bad quote issue out of this thread.

It is not really funny, and I just got the first mail by somebody who attacked me on what according to Swede's "joke" I should have said, but haven't. My opinion on Islam is no secret, but I never would put it in such stupid ways. And false quotes maybe are not a proper vehicle to deliver a joke, since misquotings already have caused anger and flaming in the past so often.

Thanks. I did not assume he intended to do damage. I thought he just was thoughtless.
