[REL] Realistic Crew Ranks and Skills

Okay, I just found out something else that can make this mod even more realistic, providing that my assumption is true. At the top of the ranks.upc file lies this info:

;LevelUp= Free - Is done automatically while in patrol.
;LevelUp= Base - Is only done in base and requires an action by the player
;LevelUp= Restricted - Player Only

That means we can get rid of the "Just Promoted" nonsense that happens while we're out on patrol. Provided, that really is "nonsense," in the sense that sailors on submarines weren't promoted while at sea!

So, can someone state a primary source which states, one way or the other, whether sailors could and were promoted while on patrol at sea?

WARNING: this mod is no longer compatible with version 1.3 and will crash the game, as the rank names now come from UPCLocalization.tsr. As it is, the in-game ranks are now correct, so this mod is really no longer needed.

Not a problem! I'm going to try to release a new version of this mod, because while the ranks are technically now correct, the unhistorical Senior Chief and Master Chief Ranks are still in there.
