Just thought of another couple.

"Come on you f#ckr!" yelled at the screen as I'm lining up a shot with a destroyer breathing down my throat.

"Sink D#mn you!" after the aforementioned scene.

And yes "B#llcks!" as the pinging gets louder.

I used a few "colourful metaphors" about an hour ago.

I was positioned perfectly against a convoy. Fired a two-torp spread on a big fat tanker and realized after they left the tube that I forgot to adjust the spread angle.

Three minutes of nail-biting and cursing under my breath and sure enough, both torps missed. The bow one probably scraped paint and the stern one probably bobbed in the wake a bit. They missed by a "RCH". (An old navy term for something very close. A Red C**t Hair. Because they are so thin and fine etc. )

I had to save and log out of the game I was so "PO'd".. Murphy's Law..

I used to have an old and very faithful 486dx100 named Iron Mike.
now where I live in summer its quite high humidity when it was
really hot and humid mikes hard drive had a tendency to stick.

I came in one day from paintball and turned on the computer and
the HD stuck and a message came on the screen that said.

Need boot disk.

so I said.....Good suggestion and gave ol mike a little lovetap with my
combat boots and he fired right up he and I enjoyed that relationship
for another year.

in a similar vein, today i was walking by the harbour, and saw a fishing trawler in the water. my eyes put a periscope-style crosshair over it before my brain even processed the information.

i was like.... whoooh... cosmic...
