I have played about 2.5 hours so far and only noticed one oddity. I was in Scapa Flow in Sept. '39 and a destroyer was on the other side of an island from me. He was firing on me even though he couldn't see me then instead of coming around the island he drove aground on it and ended up sinking. Unfortunately it was before i could maneuver into position to sink him with a torpedo.
I seriously doubt this is a GWX issue, but more likely a dumb AI one. Tool.

Never been able to do anything with the AI Collision routines. They will always head in a direct line, even if a trivial thing like a bit of land is in the way.

Hi ya'll, what is "GWX - Merged Campaign?" I did a search in the manual and couldn't find it. It's one of the JSGME options but isn't in that section of the manual that tells what all those JSGME options are. A computer search of the entire document doesn't show it, either.

Right,
the Black Sea and Indian Ocean campaign files are separate for those that want quicker load times and only play in those areas. you must enable those with JSGME if you're going to play in those areas or they'll be empty. This is in the manual too The merged campaign is exactly that, everything in one file, makes load times slightly longer. Enable it if you plan to visit the Indian ocean from the Atlantic or don't mind a bit longer load time. |

It is the Atlantic, Black Sea and Indian Ocean campaigns in one very large merged campaign. If your machine can handle it you then don't need to load the Black Sea or Indian Ocean campaigns separately which will significantly reduce the load on your rig.
Make sure though that these three "mods" are mutually exclusive. If you load one then load another one the last one loaded will take precedence as it will overwrite the same files that were written by the one loaded earlier. @Cranky beat me to it ya bugger! |

Under your MODS section what are these type of mods for or replacing?
Integrated Orders? Lite Harbor Traffic (is there already a normal traffic in the game gwx 2?) Merged Campaign. Now if its in the manual... I missed it? |

If you don't get the links today, just PM me tomorrow and I'll help get you sorted. I know its hard to be patient... just bear with us a bit due to the traffic. You can also see a thread created by Neal Stevens below regarding donations / links issues. Feel free to post there. "GWX 2.0 donation and links FAQ" I think. (All donations go to Subsim... not GWX team members to be clear) Unfortunately, I've got to leave for my real life job soon. Cold enough for two pairs of socks today... good thing I've had no time to fire up GWX today, LOL. Could get expensive. |
