i must agree with the idea that what they are showing is the "game" version of sh5 and not the true "sim" side

after all look at it from advertising side, sub simmers will buy it no matter what so you dont need to convince them.

the "gamers" out there are the ones who need to be convinced to buy it by showing them a fun game thats easy to play and challenging at the same time so they are the buyers they are advertising to and the ones these trailers are supposed to make happy, not the realism crowd.

for realism the dev team should have implemented voice recognition along with SH5 , anyway it still can be done without them. would be nice to see them add somthing like this though.

no health icon bars ingame just you and the 3d ship

using the mic to conduct attacks and control crew.

only screen using icons etc would be the tatical station plotting courses and attack solution screen.

So, things like ship health-bar and enemy line of site radar can be disabled in options or in a realistic difficulty setting. That is good news.

However, I still worry, even if the health bar or whatever is turned off, won't the game mechanic be the same? I was hoping for a departure from the health "system" (two shot kill right?) and into a more dynamic, physics based system.

Also, I too would like to see Tomi's engine room completed and tested to see how it performs. If it can run decently then I imagine SH5 would provide a better platform for enhancements to detail and accuracy.

All I can say is it looks like UBI has some awsome titles comming out.

That RUSE thing looked interesting and I've always been a fan of the Anno series.
