IMO, not a bad idea both power and heat-wise since most machines idle for long periods of time each day. I've got 4 SATA II drives in 2 RAID 1 (mirroring) arrays. Mirroring creates a slight I/O hit. However, the machine is primarily used for business applications and I can't live without the redundancy. I do my gaming at night to wind down. More often than not, staying up way later than I should. ![]() SH4 remains one of my favorites. I really started getting into it when I went to manual targeting. The challenge and the subsequent suspense while you wait to see if your soltution rings the bell is what makes it work for me. Thanks again for the advice and for encouraging me to try the affinity trick.
