That cat looks just like my black cat did when it was a kitten.(except my cat has a little white spot on its neck), they are realy nice pets. Crazy little things.

I guess this is where I should relate the story about my neighbors dog digging a hole under the fence, came into my yard, and killed my Calico.

I suggest you make your new friend used to the idea of meeting other people, so that it won't be too attached to you, and confront other humans as enemies. We don't want that.
