Always wanted one of these

Had one of these back when I was 19

Had one of these Lots of modifications to it. Had Craeger SS rally rims, a 429 Cobra Jet under the hood, Offenhauser straightflow intake, with a Holley 850 Doublepumper, dual point ignition, 4:11 possie ladder bars from the rear axle to the framerails off the frnt of the unibody. Federwall headers, and California sidepipes. Painted A very dark purple, with classic yellow and red flames. Ran real mice on the 110 octane gas from the dragstrip, but it would also run nicely on the gas I would get at the local airpark since it was 103 octane. The original owner's manual said not to run anything less than 98.5 octane or it would ruin the engine. Also had the original rally pack on the dash. With the ladderbars and all that horsepower, the 6speed racing tranny puttin' the power to gears in the rearend would launch the car from 0 to 60 in a little over 4 seconds. Not too bad for a car that weighed in at 5500 lbs.

Right now working on one of these
