Ditto on what Digital Trucker said. I wish those two (wclear and kriller) would work together and combine their talents. There are things I really like about both mods and bringing them together would be nirvana!

I guess they should have made SH4 an open boat where we run around inside and shoot each other a 1000 times. They seem to handle those games with numerous patches. --Longam UBI SHIV Forums

A sad day has dawned...

both mods have "glitches" so find out what those are and that may help you decide.

both mods try to give you the "real" look and feel but they use different settings and sometimes use different tricks to get the look they want.

its like dating twin sisters, they might look the same on the outside but inside they are different so your just going to have to try them both out untill you find a reason to like one over the other.

Yes its possible to some extent. For example, I'm using EE5 as a base, but I like the explosions, fires, caustic effects, and surface draft of PE4. Replacing the files with the respective names "explosion, fire and the sub.dat/sim files" allows me to get the best of both worlds! Cheers!

If you use any other mods like RFB and TMO replacing those .dat and sim files may cause significant side-effects.

That may be possible now, but the new version of RFB (hopefully released this weekend) will ship with the new PE as part of the package

Very Possible. I'm not sure what files E5 changes. Do you enable RFB before E5 as that would insure no problems from RFB?

As Fish stated RFB 1.52 has PE4 fully integrated as to avoid conflicts.
