Yea stay safe all Texas Subsimmers. I used to have a relative who lived in San Antonio, I've heard stories of floods and stuff.

Yep, we can pretty much kiss Galveston goodbye if the surge is over 17 feet. The surge wall is only 17 feet in Galveston. 700 miles of storm is pushing a hell of a lot of ocean.

I'm watching the news and there's already some homes on the beach being washed away in Surfside (about 20 miles south down the coast from Galveston). I wouldn't be surprised to see some major damage in Galveston and Freeport.
Getting pretty breezy here on the west side of Houston. This afternoon should be fun.
